The hit of last year’s holiday season for toddlers was the Sing-a-ma-jigs! Funnily enough there was a cult following with loads of people buying them  as presents for co-workers. Many officers experienced the harmonizing effect you get when you put more than one of these cute toys together.

So what do the new Sing-a-ma-jigs Duets offer? You now get two in one. They have the same three modes as the basic line i.e. the chatter, harmonizing and the songs. As with the sole ones you have to press the tummy for the toy to sing a note. But in the Duets you get one large Sing-a-ma-jigs holding a little one. The little one cannot be separated from the mom. They are very cute and Mattel have said they plan on releasing four models in the Duets range. They are retailing at just under $19. The new kids on the block from Fisher Price Mattel are the Sing-a-ma-jigs Duets. Like all of the other toys in the Sing-a-ma-jigs range these new Duets will sing in harmony.

Originally these toys started with six characters, two dogs in blue and purple, three bears in pink, orange and red and a yellow bunny. As their popularity grew fuelled by hundreds of people making their own Sing-a-ma-jigs videos and uploading them onto YouTube, the range on offer has expanded rapidly. These are set to be a collector's item in the future but for now they are relatively inexpensive fun toys that’ll bring a smile to everyone's face.

You can add to your existing collection of Sing-a-ma-jigs by buying the 2 pack purple and red bundle which costs $20. The collector Bunny is also very cute as is the Easter Bunny Here Comes Peter Cottontail. The Fisher Price Plush Doll Valentine’s Day figure is also a must have for your collection. Of course you need a Sing-a-ma-jigs Christmas figure complete with Santa suit and jingle bells just in time for Christmas. His version of Jingle Bells is extremely entertaining and kids will love it.

Predicting from last year’s Sing-a-ma-jigs Duets flying off the shelves we believe this year will be no different, you better get down to your local toy shop if you want to purchase your first choice of colour. You have been warned don’t leave it till December to shop for your Sing-a-ma-jigs as they will be gone!

Mattel have hit gold again with the adorable characters of the Sing-a-ma-jigs, expected to be bestsellers this Christmas. With a variety of brightly colored, interactive characters, which even sing, they’re sure to win a place in your child’s heart.

Sing-a-ma-jigs are unique looking characters that adore singing. Each comes with its own voice, and own tone of singing its very own song. When your child squeezes it, it’ll open up its little mouth and sing. While you can buy one at a time, the Sing-a-ma-jigs really come into their own as group performers. Since they each sing in their own pitch, make them sing together and they start a beautiful harmony to create layers of sound – brilliant!

Then, with other cuddly Sing-a-ma-jigs, set them to harmonize and they will be perfectly toned with one another.

As you can see, Sing-a-ma-jigs are really an unusual and endearing toy for any child. As each character is unique, yet they can be played with perfectly together, it’s great as a group present for children and their friends, or for siblings, encouraging sharing. Aged for children 3 and above, they appeal to a wide variety of kids and are sure to soon become loved, quirky companions.
